Brussels is bilingual and that is not a formality when booking. A request in French produces different names than one in Dutch, simply because not everyone speaks both at the same level.
Rates here run slightly above Flanders and the Netherlands, which follows from the business crowd and the number of longer bookings. Agencies apply a discount percentage from five hours upwards.
Hotels around the European quarter and the centre are used most. For residents who care about discretion, a hotel on the other side of the city is a common solution.
Wallonia is close. Namur, Liege and Charleroi fall inside the working area of several companions, usually with travel time charged.
Practical points
- Travel costs come on top of the rate and should be stated before the booking is confirmed.
- A rate indication covers the first two hours; each additional hour adds around one hundred and fifty euro.
- From five hours agencies apply a discount percentage.
- For a home visit an agency will ask for a real address and phone number.
